this is a collaboration between me bloodyslash and rabidmongoose
Terragen Render by: rabidmongoose :
He rendered about 62hours on this render with a size of 6800x5100!
He did just a quite awesome job! it was really easy to find a good spaceart concept to this amazing render! i sized it down to 2100x1575 and added some details to it! then i resized it down to 1000x750!

now whilst i feel you've oversharpened the image as the final touch (the water shows some artefacts) - this is a VERY well done collab. Both sides gel nicely, from a surreal terrain to the dark and ominous space above. The impact is nicely done, although the clouding at the non-impact side of the asteroid isn't really necessary, the planets are superb. Very nice textures indeed, where did you get them from? the backdrop of the space scene is also very nicely executed, not too outstanding. Overall, excellent job both of you :)
